I don’t always do wedding photography, but when I do I tend to have a pretty lovely time. This wedding was especially fun because it was SUPER SECRET, so I won’t be naming any names until all the news goes public!
I was lucky enough to book this wedding with an absolutely wonderful couple from the Bay Area who had recently relocated to the midwest; but rather than getting hitched at their new location they opted to venture back to San Francisco to have a little ceremony at the City Hall building. If you’ve never been there, I highly recommend it – the architecture is nothing short of amazing; full of gigantic marble columns, confusing hallways and beautiful huge windows – and when we were there in December for the ceremony there was a huge christmas tree decorated with hundreds of paper cranes that only added to the majestic feel of the place.
The Bride and Groom were fantastic individuals, and I feel so honored to have been part of their special day. I love being able to see people in such genuine, open love with each other, and playing voyeur to the connections between other people is one of my favorite perks of being a photographer.
Here’s a few of my favorite photos from our time together!
